Rust developer on the Rust Development team at Parity Technologies since 2022, working on core blockchain infrastructure within the Polkadot ecosystem. Ankan was part of the first cohort of PBA Campus, and has since gone on to teach at the Academy himself, serving as an Instructor Teaching Assistant in Hong Kong and later as an Instructor in Bali, Indonesia.
Before moving into Rust and blockchain development, Ankan spent close to eight years as a backend developer, primarily building fintech systems with web2 technologies at companies including Klarna, P.F.C., Personal Finance Co. and ThoughtWorks, as well as a DevOps role at Dwellir AB, a blockchain infrastructure provider. He made the move into Web3 driven by a belief in its potential as a tool to build a fairer world, and is also Founder of Pixie Duck AB.
