Software engineer and researcher with a focus on blockchain consensus and protocol layers, payment channels, and cryptography. Maciej is a member of the Node Engineering Team at Parity Technologies, where he works on the consensus protocol behind parallelized blockchains in the Polkadot ecosystem.
Before joining Parity, Maciej interned as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he expanded back-end APIs for a new equity derivatives trading tool and collaborated with the Digital Currencies team on blockchain-based securities tokenization. He also worked as a Software Engineer at Majestic, an SEO data platform, and spent a year as an Online Coding Instructor at First Code Academy, teaching programming to children.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Aston University, where he also served as a peer mentor and student representative.
